Linda Maria Straka was born with the Viennese string sound, her father solo double bass player of the Vienna Philharmonic and grandfather Prof. Anton Straka leader of the 1st violins her violin professor since the age of 5.

In her young years from 2008 to 2014 she attended the opera camp of the Vienna Philharmonic in Salzburg every year during the Salzburg Festival. She has given concerts several times in the Vienna Musikverein under the direction of well-known conductors such as Nazanin Aghakhani, Remy Ballot and Guido Mancusi, conductor of the Vienna Volksoper.
From 2016 Linda Straka was 1st violinist in the youth symphony orchestra of Lower Austria. She developed a large artistic repertoire with Bettina Gradinger, concertmaster of the Vienna Volksoper, and Susanne Masetti, deputy. Section leader of the first violins of the Tonkunstler Orchestra Vienna.
Already at a young age, Linda gained experience in ensemble playing and as a soloist in chamber music formations, at regular concerts of the "Family Music Straka".
As a soloist she played with the Camerata Prima la musica Vienna Ensemble, with which she also conducted a world premiere of Herbert Willi as concertmaster.

With her violin quartet, Linda Straka worked with Aleksey Igudesman, who composed two works for this quartet. Linda Straka premiered another composition by Andreas Wykydal as first violin with her violin quartet in 2021. She is a member of the Wiener Klangkollektiv Orchestra.

She attended master classes with David Frühwirth and Miriam Tschopp, among others. She completed the preparatory course at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna before beginning her concert studies in autumn 2019. She studied with Prof. Gerald Schubert, section leader of the 2nd violins of the Vienna Philharmonic, and is currently studying in the violin class of Prof. Albena Danailova, concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic.
