Rino Yoshimoto

19-year-old Japanese violinist Rino Yoshimoto has captivated audiences around the world. In 2019 she made her solo debuts at Carnegie Hall and the Wiener Konzerthaus. She has an extensive repertoire and has performed with orchestras in Japan, Austria, Bulgaria, Greece, the USA and Italy.
In 2021 she made her solo debuts in the Konzerthaus with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra.
Ms. Yoshimoto is currently a student of Prof. Michael Frischenschlager at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and Prof. Augustin Dumay at the Queen Elizabeth Music Chapel.
Known for her phenomenal musicianship, Ms. Yoshimoto is a prize winner of numerous international violin competitions, including the Fritz Kreisler International Violin Competition 2018, the International Johannes Brahms Competition 2017-19.
She was selected as a 2020/2021 Rohm Music Foundation scholarship recipient. (Japan) She also received a scholarship from Mr. Heinz Schinner in Vienna. She plays a violin by Giuseppe Guarneri, made in Italy in 1697, and a bow by Eugène Sartory of France, courtesy of the Boubo-Music Switzerland Foundation.
